WWE Survivor Series: CM Punk Helps Roman Reigns Regain Tribal Chief Status

Paul Heyman’s plan for CM Punk to help Roman Reigns’ War Games team worked perfectly last night at the WWE Survivor Series in Vancouver.

Reigns teamed up with Punk and the Original Bloodline (The Usos and Sami Zayn) against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline 2.0 squad (Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and extra member Bronson Reed).

Reed climbed to the top of the cage to put Reigns through a table with the Tsunami splash, but Punk pulled Reigns out of the way.

Reigns’ team finally cornered Sikoa, who refused to acknowledge Reigns as Tribal Chief.

As punishment, he got nailed with a Superkick Party from The Usos, a Heluva Kick from Zayn, a Go To Sleep from Punk, and a spear from Reigns.

Heyman embraced Punk after the match, and Punk reminded the Wiseman that he would ask for a favor in return for his help.

As a result of the match, Reigns will regain the Ula Falaa necklace and be acknowledged as the Tribal Chief of the Samoan wrestling family.

WOMEN’S WAR GAMES

Rhea Ripley’s team won the opening War Games bout. She joined forces with Iyo Sky, Bayley, Naomi, and Bianca Belair to defeat Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Candice LeRae, and Raquel Rodriguez.

Jax and Morgan hold both of the women’s titles in WWE. Their teammate, Stratton, considered cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase on one of them before Sky broke it up with a fire extinguisher blast.

Sky and Stratton later wiped out everyone else in the match with a double dive off the cage. Sky executed a moonsault with a trash can over her head.

Ripley finally ended the match by slammng archrival Morgan off the top rope with a Riptide through a table.

OTHER ACTION

Bron Breakker retained the Intercontinental title in a Triple Threat match. He beat Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser after hitting the spear on both challengers.

Shinsuke Nakamura won his second United States title with an upset victory over LA Knight. Sporting a new Undertaker-style look, Nakamura won with the Kinshasa knee strike.

Gunther retained the World title with a win over Damien Priest. Just like at SummerSlam, Finn Balor interfered in the match. So, Priest’s battles with Balor’s Judgment Day group will continue.
