CM Punk revealed last night that he joined Roman Reigns’ War Games team as a favor to Paul Heyman.

Punk sat down with Heyman and Reigns for a conference on last night’s Smackdown.

Reigns was clearly annoyed at having Punk on the team, but Heyman pointed out that Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline had dominated Reigns’ family since WrestleMania.

Punk, who was managed by Heyman during his time as WWE champion, said that “their Wiseman” now owes him a favor.

Reigns asked what that favor would be, and Heyman deferred the question until after War Games.

The big match will take place at Survivor Series, which will start tonight at 6 p.m. in Vancouver, Canada.

Last night on Smackdown, Solo’s Bloodline 2.0 earned the War Games advantage as Jacob Fatu defeated Jey Uso in the main event.

I CAN’T SEE CLEARLY

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Andrade to prepare for his Survivor Series match against LA Knight for the U.S. title.

Knight came to the ring after the match, and Nakamura spat black mist in his eyes.

Kevin Owens talked about all of the bad things Reigns has done to him. This explained why he is angry at Cody Rhodes for teaming with Reigns.

Rhodes, who won a non-title match over Carmelo Hayes on Smackdown, will defend the WWE title against Owens on Saturday Night’s Main Event on Dec. 14.

REPLACING JADE TWICE

Bayley joined Rhea Ripley’s War Games team, replacing the injured Jade Cargill. Someday, we will learn who attacked Cargill and smashed her through a car window.

Cargill also was scheduled to wrestler last night in the women’s U.S. title tournament. Lash Legend took her place.

In that Triple Threat match, Michin defeated Legend and Piper Niven. She joined Chelsea Green and Bayley in the semifinals.

The last quarterfinal match will take place on next week’s Smackdown. Tiffany Stratton will face Naomi and Elektra Lopez in a Triple Threat match.
