WWE Raw: Seth Rollins Turns Down Both Bloodlines for Survivor Series
The War Games match at Survivor Series will be five-on-five, reminiscent of the show’s first installment in 1987.
The old and new Bloodline factions both need a fifth team member. Last night on Raw, both sides tried to recruit Seth Rollins.
Sami Zayn had the idea first, thinking that if he could reunite with the original Bloodline, Rollins and Roman Reigns could resolve their issues from the breakup of The Shield in 2014.
Rollins refused and criticized Zayn for putting aside his past differences with the Original Tribal Chief.
Solo Sikoa tried to add Rollins to the Bloodline 2.0 team, but Rollins turned him down, calling him a Roman Reigns wannabe.
Both teams are running out of time, as Survivor Series is set for Nov. 30 in Vancouver.
WORLD TITLE REMATCH
Also at Survivor Series, Gunther will defend his World title against Damien Priest in a rematch from SummerSlam. Priest used Gunther’s loss to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel to undermine the champion’s confidence.
Priest warmed up for the match by defeating Gunther’s buddy, Ludwig Kaiser, with the South of Heaven chokeslam.
Dakota Kai returned from injury to rejoin Damage CTRL. They won a six-woman match over Pure Fusion Collective after Iyo Sky hit a moonsault on Shayna Baszler.
Kofi Kingston lost to Pete Dunne because he couldn’t stop arguing with his New Day partner, Xavier Woods.
In the main event, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill retained the WWE women’s tag team championship by defeating Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez. Belair pinned Morgan, the World women’s champion.
Next week, Sheamus will try to win the one championship that has eluded him as he takes on Intercontinental champion Bron Breakker.
