Charlotte Flair returned to NXT last night to greet an old friend and possibly meet a new rival.

Bayley was having a summit meeting with Roxanne Perez and Giulia leading up to their three-way women’s title match at Vengeance Day on Feb. 15.

Charlotte, who won the Royal Rumble, appeared and talked about old times with her Four Horsewomen mate, Bayley.

Cora Jade broke up the party by attacking Bayley and Giulia with a kendo stick. Jade will face Bayley on NXT next week.

If you think that Charlotte won’t pick Giulia for her WrestleMania title shot, remember that she chose to face Rhea Ripley for the NXT belt after winning the Rumble in 2020.

MORE VENGEANCE DAY

Trick Williams teamed up with Oba Femi to lose to A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) in the main event.

Eddy Thorpe attacked Trick and caused him to lose. After match, Thorpe literally “whooped that Trick” with a strap.

At Vengeance Day on Feb. 15, Femi will defend the NXT title against Waller and Theory in a Triple Threat match.

We will probably also see Thorpe vs. Williams in a strap match. Trick needs some vengeance!

OTHER ACTION

Stephanie Vacquer defeated Jacy Jayne in the opening match. She will challenge Fallon Henley for the North American women’s title at Vengeance Day.

Ridge Holland defeated Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo with the Redeemer DDT.

Sol Ruca & Zaria defeated Gigi Dolan & Tatum Paxley.

Kelani Jordan defeated Karmen Petrovic with the crossface chicken wing. However, Jordan got disqualified after match for going into Bob Backlund mode and slapping the hold on again.

Lexis King declared that his Heritage Cup would no longer be defended under the British round system.

Fandango then showed up unexpectedly as his next challenger. He was an NXT original as Johnny Curtis before ballroom dancing his way into a WrestleMania victory over Chris Jericho.

He currently wrestles for TNA under the name JDC.
