WWE NXT: Bayley Leads Surprising List of Visitors

Several wrestlers from outside NXT showed up for last night’s show. One doesn’t even work for WWE.

Bayley interrupted Roxanne Perez’s show-closing rant. Perez slapped Bayley, who responded by pummeling her as the show went off the air.

WWE tag team champions #DIY returned to their old stomping grounds. Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa both had lengthy reigns as NXT champion.

They watched Nathan Frazier & Axiom successfully defend the NXT tag team belts against OTM (Out The Mud).

The most intriguing visitor to the show was Masha Slamovich. The current TNA Knockouts champion also wrestles regularly for Game Changer Wrestling.

Maybe Masha will follow in the footsteps of Mickie James and Jordynne Grace and appear in the Royal Rumble while holding the Knockouts title.

THE NEW CHAMP

Oba Femi opened the show by bragging about becoming NXT champion last week. Tony D’Angelo reminded Femi that “The Don” beat him for the North American title.

Eddy Thorpe and Ridge Holland appeared for a brawl, so those four guys will be battling over the NXT title in the coming weeks.

Shotzi defeated Stephanie Vaquer to earn a shot at Fallon Henley’s North American women’s title.

ANOTHER INJURY

Ethan Page added Dante Chen to the list of wrestlers he has injured. Page won their match quickly and then smashed Chen’s leg with the ring steps.

Cora Jade defeated Kelani Jordan with a double-arm DDT.

The Meta-Girls (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend) beat former WWE women’s tag team champions Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.

Meta-Girls will get a shot at the current champions, Bianca Belair & Naomi, who defend the belts on Raw, Smackdown and NXT.

Next week, Eddy Thorpe will get the first shot at NXT champion Oba Femi.
