Eric Bischoff and X-Pac showed up last night for NXT’s final episode before Saturday’s Deadline event in Minneapolis.

Bischoff, the former boss of World Championship Wrestling, moderated a discussion between NXT champion Trick Williams and his Deadline challenger, Ridge Holland.

Of course, the talk turned into a brawl, as Holland gave the champion a DDT on the announcers’ table.

X-Pac noted that Je’Von Evans was the same age he was when he beat Razor Ramon on Monday Night Raw in 1993. That victory earned him the name “The 1-2-3 Kid.”

BIG NIGHT FOR THE CREW

No Quarter Catch Crew had a lot of success, so they will be involved in two big matches at Deadline.

Wren Sinclair won the Last Chance match to qualify for the women’s Iron Survivor bout. She beat Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, and Cora Jade.

Lola Vice accidentally knocked out Sinclair, and she landed on Jade for the victory. Her teammates woke her up and told her that she had won the match.

Myles Borne won the tag team battle royale, so he and NQCC teammate Tavion Heights will challenge Nathan Frazier & Axiom for the tag team title.

MORE DEADLINE SETUP

Eddy Thorpe won the main event Last Chance match to qualify for the men’s Iron Survivor bout. He defeated Lexis King, Axiom, and Cedric Alexander.

However, Thorpe is questionable to compete at Deadline because a mystery assailant attacked him at the end of the show.

Jaida Parker responded to Lola Vice’s attempt to knock her out in the opener by challenging her to a no-ropes NXT Underground match at Deadline.

In other bouts on last night’s show, Gigi Dolin defeated Izzi Dame; and Karmen Petrovic beat Nikkita Lyons with the Silent Slice kick.
