Will The Elite Save All Elite Wrestling From Blackpool Combat Club?

Jon Moxley declared war on All Elite Wrestling last night on Dynamite. The guys who put the “E” in AEW backed away from the fight.

Moxley won his fourth AEW World title at WrestleDream on Saturday. His Blackpool Combat Club hit the ring during the Dynamite match between The Conglomeration and The Elite.

Dark Order tried to help, but BCC took them out. Top Flight, Action Andretti, and Daniel Garcia also stood up to the bullies.

However, The Elite (Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Kazuchika Okada) did not join the fight. We’ll see how long they can stay out of the conflict.

I’M A GOOD GUY

Adam Cole (bay-bay!) opened the show in the ring to insult MJF. Even though Cole turned against MJF before going on the injured list, MJF is back to being a bad guy. That means Cole is getting cheered again.

Christian Cage won the main event over “Switchblade” Jay White after interference from “Hangman” Adam Page.

Remember, Christian still has a World title shot that he can cash in at any time, like the WWE’s Money in the Bank briefcase.

FTR defeated Big Bill & Bryan Keith. Lovable 1980s-style muscleheads The Outrunners came out to celebrate with FTR.

Shelton Benjamin, a former Intercontinental and tag team champion during his long WWE tenure, won his AEW debut over Lio Rush.

WOMEN’S ACTION

TBS champion Mercedes Mone defeated Queen Aminata in a non-title match by submission to the Statement Maker crossface hold.

Women’s champion Mariah May complained about Toni Storm getting the No. 1 spot on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Top 250 women’s list. Anna Jay stepped up as May’s next challenger.

Next week on Dynamite, Chris Jericho will get another shot at Ring Of Honor champion Mark Briscoe in a Ladder War match.
