Thursday Night Football Fantasy Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em: Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers

It is official playoff time in fantasy football.

The Thursday Night Football showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will kick off the action heading into the weekend.

Below, check out the top starts and sits for round one of your postseason matchup.

Automatic Starts: Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, Kyren Williams

Start ‘Em

Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers: Jennings has turned into the Niners’ No. 1 option after the injury to Brandon Aiyuk. Jennings is currently tops on the team with 42 target over the last five games. He has been a legitimate No. 1 option and this has propelled him into a must-start in fantasy.

Isaac Guerendo, San Francisco 49ers: Guerendo stepped right into the starting role for Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason on the shelf. He turned in a big performance, both on the ground and through the air, in his first start last week. Guerendo will play a majority of snaps on the offensive side and is a legitimate option this week.

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams: Stafford has been a Top 10 fantasy QB over the last four weeks. With both of his top receivers in the lineup, Stafford puts up big numbers, especially in the red zone. The Niners ave allowed some big games through the air and this makes Stafford a solid start.

Sit ‘Em

Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers: Samuel has been a controversial player in fantasy this year. With Aiyuk going out for the season, it was assumed that Samuel’s value would skyrocket. It has gone the other way. He has not been productive over the last month and has voiced his displeasure. If you believe this is enough for the Niners to get him the ball, start him. Otherwise, he is hard to trust.

Demarcus Robinson, Los Angeles Rams: Robinson should be nothing more than a panic start in case of injury. He has flashed at times as a deep-ball threat. Robinson is a touchdown dependent player that can get open in the secondary but this is nothing more than a lottery ticket. He cannot be counted on for consistent production.

Colby Parkinson, Los Angeles Rams: There is a set hierarchy within the Rams offense. Parkinson has been the top tight end for Los Angeles with Tyler Higbee injured but has just one catch in four games. He has played a majority of the snaps but is not a pass-catching option. Stafford has plenty to target on the outside and in the backfield.
