The 5 Best Games on Cleveland Browns 2024 Schedule

The Cleveland Browns 2024 schedule was released a few weeks ago. While every game matters and will be important in hopes of the team getting back to the postseason in pursuit of a Super Bowl there are some that we could consider “the best” for various reasons.

Let’s look at five battles ahead that will have Cleveland fans glued to their seats!

No. 5 best game: Dallas Cowboys home game in Week 1

This game must be on this list because it’s the Cowboys and the home opener. Week 1 games for Browns fans haven’t always had the best outcomes until recently. Getting to be in the national spotlight with the 4 pm late start will only rev up the team, the fans, and the city. I look for the Browns to roll in this one. All the hype and build-up to this first game will pay off for the team. The Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will throw for over 300 yards and have three touchdowns in a route. Every Browns fan will be shouting “Super Bowl Baby!”

No. 4 best game: Philadelphia Eagles away game in Week 6

This will be a good early test on the road for our Browns. Philadelphia has been one of the best teams in the NFL now for several seasons. They always have a solid defense and quarterback Jalen Hurts leads their offense. Winning at Philly is tough for any NFL team and this game will be an uphill battle. Cleveland plays the Washington Commanders the week before and that could be a trap game for the Browns as they could already have their eyes set on the Eagles.

If the Browns want this season to be special, then battling and winning in Philly could be a pivotal moment. While I’d like to think that Cleveland will win this game it’s hard to get by that it’s an away game in Philadelphia. The Browns have battled the Eagles in Philly four times since 1979. They beat them in that year and then again in 1994. But since then in 2008 and 2016 they lost handily. So maybe it’s time to change that.

No. 3 best game: Pittsburgh Steelers home game (Thursday Night) in Week 12

This game will be one of the best because the lights will be on for Thursday Night Football. Cleveland has gone 4-0 in these games under the guidance of head coach Kevin Stefanski. Plus the Browns are playing their rival the Steelers. Cleveland has beaten Pittsburgh twice on Thursday Night Football dating back to 2019.

Who can forget the 2019 game, when Browns defensive leader Myles Garrett got into a stew with then-Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph?

I see this game in 2024 going in the Browns favor as they start pushing around their AFC North opponents as they gear up for the postseason.

No. 2 best game: Miami Dolphins home game (Sunday Night) in Week 17

The regular season will be coming to a close as we prepare to watch this prime-time Sunday night affair between our Browns and the Miami Dolphins. It’s a home game too and will be during the holiday season. The weather could be a factor and the opponent is from the beach. All these factors play in favor of the Orange and Brown squad.

There will likely be pivotal games across the NFL during this stretch and Cleveland will be looking to lock up the AFC North Division crown and a good postseason seed.

No. 1 best game: Kansas City Chiefs home game in Week 15

Finally, we come to likely the best game on the docket for Cleveland. They’ll welcome the Kansas City Chiefs to town on December 15th. The game is sandwiched in between two important AFC North Division games against the Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. That Cincy game will be played on the road in a shortened week for another Thursday Night Football game.

With that being said, this Chiefs game could be overlooked by many. But this is a battle against the best team in the NFL and the defending Super Bowl champs. It’s a game against the best quarterback in the league Patrick Mahomes and the best tight end Travis Kelce, who’s from Cleveland and has the most famous girlfriend in the world in Taylor Swift.

If the Browns want to stay in the conversation of Super Bowl contender then beating the Chiefs is big. I see this going in Cleveland’s favor and the continued “Super Bowl Baby” chatter continuing too.

Enjoy this season Browns fans!
