Players To Watch At The Senior Bowl For The Browns
The Senior Bowl and the East West Shrine Bowl are the beginning of the 2025 draft process for the fans. In this article, I’m going to concentrate on the Senior Bowl because Browns GM Andrew Berry is always in attendance. Historically, 43% of the players who participate get drafted. This is a great opportunity for NFL front office personnel and coaches to watch practices and conduct one on one interviews with the draftees. Here’s five players I think the Browns maybe interested in drafting other than quarterback.
Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami
Arroyo is a vertical threat in the passing game but can line up inside because of his size. He’s a smart player with great hands. He can also line up in the slot and is a very smooth route runner. If he does well in the blocking drills that will be an added bonus. Should be available late third, early fourth round.
Devin Neal, RB, Kansas
Neal is a great all around running back. Very talented and can have an impact in the run game and passing game. He’s not the fastest back but makes up for it by being very athletic with good burst and balance. Should be available mid fourth, early fifth round.
Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
Ersery looks like a typical NFL left tackle. He’s a big powerful player who has the ability to pass block one on one. Has great movement, strength and agility. If he can handle the different types of pass rushers in practice, then he could be a first-round talent. Should be available early second round.
T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina
Sanders is your typical Jim Schwartz interior defensive lineman. He can pressure the quarterback and also stop the run. Has size and athleticism and has the moves to beat blockers. Can be impactful at the next level because of his production. Should be available mid second, early third round.
Jonas Sanker, S, Virginia
Sanker is an excellent tackler who takes pride in making plays. He can thrive in any pass defense and is good in coverage. Always looking to improve on the field and can play special teams. High energy player. Should be available in the late fifth, early sixth round.
As I mentioned earlier, Andrew Berry is always in attendance and over the years the Browns have drafted at least two players a year who have participated in the Senior Bowl.
