My Final Cleveland Browns 53-Man Roster Prediction

Prior to 4:00pm EST Tuesday, NFL teams must trim their rosters to 53 players. The Brown’s roster is already loaded with talent, so players are basically vying for a few backup positions and the practice squad. Here are my predictions.

Quarterback (2). Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston.

Running Back (4). Nick Chubb, D’Onta Foreman, Jerome Ford, Nyheim Hines.

Tight End (2). David Njoku, Jordan Akins.

Wide Receiver (6). Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy, Elijah Moore, David Bell, Cedric Tillman, Jamari Thash.

Offensive Tackle (4). Jack Conklin, Jedrick Wills, Dawand Jones, James Hudson.

Offensive Guard (4). Joel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller, Zak Zinter, Michael Dunn.

Center (2). Ethan Pocic, Nick Harris

Defensive Tackle (5). Delvin Tomlinson, Quinton Jefferson, Shelby Harris, Maurice Hurst, Michael Hall.

Defensive End (5). Myles Garrett, Za’Darius Smith, Ogbo Okoronkwo, Alex Wright, Isaiah McGuire.

Linebacker (6). Jordan Hicks, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Devin Bush, Tony Fields, Nathaniel Watson, Mohamoud Diabate.

Cornerback (5). Denzel Ward, Martin Emerson, Greg Newsome, Cameron Mitchell, Myles Harden.

Safety (5). Grant Delpit, Juan Thornhill, Rodney McLeod, D’Anthony Bell, Ronnie Hickman.

Long Snapper (1). Charlie Hughlett

Kicker (1). Dustin Hopkins

Punter (1). Cory Bojorquez.

The Practice Squad is a little harder to predict because all players cut are subject to waivers and if Browns GM Andrew Berry see a player he covets from another team, he’ll pounce. Here are a few I like: QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson (Emergency third string QB), RB Pierre Strong, RB Aiden Robbins, WR Michael Woods, WR James Proche, WR Ahmarean Brown, TE Treyton Welch, G Javion Cohen, G Wyatt Davis, T Germain Ifedi, DT Siaki Ika, DT Jovan Briggs, DE SAm Kamara, DE Isaiah Thomas, CB Tony Brown, CB Kahlef Hailassie and S Chris Edmonds.
