Last season I did the Friday Night Steelers Six Pack and wondered if it was worth doing further. After all, interaction was not great, and sometimes you just have to adjust. So I decided to call an audible, and not just abandon the Friday night meeting of the black-and-gold minds.

Instead of six questions, I wanted to focus solely on one question.

We’ll still do the preamble of what you’re eating/drinking/listening to, but we’ll focus our attention on the one Steelers question of the week. Don’t worry, most weeks I’ll do a bonus/extra credit question for fun. With all that out of the way, let’s get to the question!

With the Wild Card Round of the AFC Playoffs this Saturday and the Steelers 9.5-point underdogs, it is worth asking what the Steelers need to do to claim victory.

In other words, finish this sentence….

The Steelers beat the Ravens if ________.

I’ll go ahead and answer first. To me, the Steelers beat the Ravens if they don’t turn the ball over, but take it away more than once. Are there other factors in play? Absolutely, but the Steelers need to change the way they play, reverting back to what gave them success earlier in the season, and it was that aforementioned recipe.

As for what I’m eating, it’s whatever the wife has planned for the evening. As for drink, it’s store bought kombucha, as usual, and the tunes will be some vinyl records from the collection!
