This is a special week for football fans around the globe, but especially for the Pittsburgh Steelers. On Wednesday, July 24th, the Steelers will report to training camp once again at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA where they will hopefully sharpen their skills as they start the journey of championship proportions.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet.

The entire point of this article is to let you, the fan, know what to expect from us right here at the Steel Curtain Network this week with the team reporting to camp. Will it be just another week of content? No, far from it. We plan on doing what we’ve done leading up to camp every year since we were at our old homestead.

That would be the Training Camp Confidential.

Maybe you are new around here, so let me explain what that will entail.

The Training Camp Confidential is a 2-3 day unraveling of Steelers content to get you ready, and pumped up, for the upcoming season.

When will it start? The content will start Wednesday, with the players reporting to camp.

How long will it last? We will be unveiling special content for the Camp Confidential from Wednesday thru Friday for you to consume as the Steelers get ready for the season.

Why do you do this? Let’s be honest, we are all hyped over the season starting, but the first 2-3 days don’t really provide much news or highlights. It’s players reporting and some light workouts in helmets and shorts. We want to provide you something to sink your teeth into until the real practices start.

How long have you done this? This will be the 5th year we have done the Camp Confidential.

What about the podcasts? There won’t be any ground-breaking change in the podcast schedule. We’ll outline our regular season schedule soon enough, but as of now there aren’t any changes on the podcast side. Just keep listening to all the podcasts we provide on a daily basis!
