Was Matt Canada really the problem with the Steelers offense?

Rewind back three weeks, and fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers can recall their jubilation when news hit of Matt Canada being fired from the team as offensive coordinator. We all saw it as a huge step forward, and hopefully improvement would follow for the Steelers offense.

The next game, at the Cincinnati Bengals, the offense experienced their first 400 yard game in over 50 contests. While only scoring 16 points in the outing, it was a step in the right direction. More success was bound to follow, right?

Wrong.

What transpired with the offense was losing two games to sub-par teams, and still looking as if they had the same issues as when Canada was the one orchestrating and calling the plays. Which begs the question, was Matt Canada really the problem?

That is the topic of conversation on the latest Call Sheet Breakdowns video by our own Coach KT Smith. Take a look at the video breakdown of the offense, particularly in the Thursday Night Football loss to the New England Patriots to see if Canada was the problem, or not.
