Updating the Steelers offensive depth chart ahead of 2024 training camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers had another intriguing offseason as general manager Omar Khan is continuing to put his own stamp on the Steelers front office. Looking specifically at the offensive side of the ball, the Steelers have officially added new players into the mix throughout free agency, the draft, and signing undrafted rookie free agents.

Since the team is mostly filled out and ready to head into training camp, let’s look at the Steelers offensive depth chart by position.

*Due to position versatility at guard and center, both were grouped together as interior offensive linemen

+Connor Heyward is listed on Steelers.com as a TE/FB, hence why he was included in both groups.

++Cordarrelle Patterson is listed on Steelers.com as a RB/KR. He is also currently on the Active/NFI List

The Steelers have filled out their offensive position groups quite nicely when it comes strictly to the numbers as they have 43 offensive players heading into training camp. Whether or not the players they have at each position is the quality needed for success remains to be seen and up for debate. While these are the players the Steelers are starting with for training camp, the likelihood of these names remaining constant throughout the preseason is very low as players will be on and off the 90-man roster.

So what position group stands out as having more players than necessary? Which ones do you think the Steelers still may have the most concerns? Make sure to give your thoughts in the comments below.
