The Pittsburgh Steelers are facing another AFC North road challenge in Ohio. As teams across the NFL are dealing with various injuries, the Steelers were hopeful to get an All-Pro player back this week after missing the last three games.

In the final injury report this week courtesy of Steelers.com, two players have been ruled out for Week 12 against the Bengals with one other being questionable.

One player who Steelers fans were keeping their eyes on was All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrik. Missing their last three games after leaving early in Week 8, Fitzpatrick did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday. As Steelers fans braced for after two days, Fitzpatrick once again did not practice and has been ruled out.

The other player who missed Sunday’s game due to injury for the Steelers was defensive tackle Montravius Adams with an ankle. On Wednesday, Adams was able to return in a limited capacity and Thursday saw Adams once again as a limited participant. Friday brought another limited participation, but Adams has been ruled out once again this week.

One other player who did miss practice on Wednesday due to injury was wide receiver George Pickens with a shin injury. Pickens was not mentioned by head coach Mike Tomlin in Tuesday’s press conference as dealing with an injury. On Thursday, Pickens returned to practice but was limited. On Friday, Pickens was a full participant and has no injury status for Sunday.

There were two other players other than Adams who were limited in Wednesday’s practice. Cornerback James Pierre was limited with a shoulder while outside linebacker Nick Herbig’s hamstring kept him from being a full participant. For Thursday’s practice, both players were once again limited. Friday saw a split in the participation of these two players with Herbig returning as a full participant and Pierre not being able to participate. For this reason, Herbig does not have an injury status while Pierre is questionable for Sunday.

There were four players on the Steelers who did not practice on Wednesday not due to injury but due to getting extra rest. Two players who did the same thing last week were cornerback Patrick Peterson and guard Isaac Seumalo. Joining them on the “Not Injury Related” list were cornerback Levi Wallace and defensive tackle Cam Heyward. On Thursday, three of the four names were removed from the report as they returned to practice. The only player who remained on the injury list was Cam Heyward who was limited on Thursday and has the added designation of dealing with his groin injury. Friday saw another limited practice from Heyward, but he carries no injury designation for Sunday’s game.

As for the Bengals injury report, it can be seen here courtesy of Steelers.com. Wide receiver Tee Higgins and standout cornerback Cam Tayler-Britt have been ruled out while linebacker Germaine Pratt is questionable with an illness.
