The Steelers organization will break their silence at the NFL Scouting Combine
The Pittsburgh Steelers are team that does things their way. While they always appease the NFL’s standards, they don’t go out of their way to do anything they don’t feel will be beneficial or helpful to their way of doing business. One of those things is for the main pieces of the front office speaking during the offseason.
After Mike Tomlin’s end of season press conference, you won’t hear from Tomlin again until the NFL Owner’s Meeting breakfast, and then not until the NFL Draft.
Art Rooney II met with media after the season, but won’t be speaking publicly again anytime soon.
The next to speak will be General Manager Omar Khan at the NFL Scouting Combine. When will he speak? According to the schedule he’ll be answering questions from the media Tuesday.

There will be plenty to talk about for Khan, especially after the team has decided to part ways with Mitch Trubisky, Chuka Okorafor, Pressley Harvin, and most recently Mason Cole.
Thought Khan would only be asked about draft prospects? Think again…
While he will likely avoid most questions at all cost, he certainly will have to face the music of what a crazy offseason this could be for the Steelers organization. Could it be tumultuous? It could, but it doesn’t have to be. Instead, free agency and a great draft could change the Steelers trajectory in a big way.
Stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers as they prepare for the 2024 offseason.
