Steelers vs. Ravens Picks, Week 11: See who the SCN staff is predicting to win

IT’S GAME DAY!!

That means while we all wait for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens to kickoff at 1:00pm EST in Week 11 on Sunday, it’s time to take a look at who the SCN staff likes in this game. The current line for the game is PIT (+3) with a Total of 48.5.

But these picks are vs. the spread, or based on an over/under. These are straight up picks. So, let’s get to the prognostications…

Jeff Hartman

The Steelers are facing their toughest test of the 2024 regulars season, and it’s also their first divisional game of the season. We all know this, but what I can’t get out of my head is how the Steelers defense can be the difference in this game.

We all know how prolific the Baltimore offense can be, but can the Steelers defense stand tall enough to allow the offense to do work? And can the offense exploit a very un-Ravens like defense to win the game?

I like the Steelers in this game, and a large reason is the defensive performance which gives the Steelers an opportunity at the end of the game.

Prediction: Steelers 28, Ravens 24

Dave Schofield

It’s not every day where I feel a game truly could go either way. The Steelers showed they are a quality NFL team, and they’re facing one of the best in the league at home. But it’s also a very familiar opponent. I think this game comes down to splash plays, meaning both takeaways, sacks, as well as special teams. If all of those even out between the two teams, I don’t know what’s going to separate them. Since I’ll be at the game, there’s no way I’m picking against the Steelers. Additionally, I think this is going to be much more of an offensive battle than we have seen in this rivalry in a long time.

Prediction: Steelers 34, Ravens 30

Anthony Defeo

Things have been going swimmingly for the Steelers this season and certainly over the past three weeks. They look like contenders as they begin the tough portion of their schedule, but are they? Pittsburgh has only lost one time to the Ravens since 2019, which is amazing for a rivalry that has been so historically close and intense. And that is why I’m predicting an over-correction for Baltimore this Sunday at Acrisure Stadium. The Steelers defense hasn’t faced an offense as explosive as the Ravens. Lamar Jackson, the two-time NFL MVP, is playing the best football of his career. Pittsburgh’s offense should put up some points against the Ravens defense, but this will still be a blowout victory for the visitors and a nasty dose of reality for the Steelers.

Prediction: Ravens 44, Steelers 23

Big Bro Scho

Time for some AFC North slobernocker football. That’s what we usually get when it’s Steelers vs Ravens, and I expect nothing different this time around. The Steelers defense will not totally stifle the Ravens offense, but will slow it down significantly. The Steelers offense will not dominate the awful Ravens defense, but it will do enough to get the job done in the end. It will be a tough game and it will be a close game.

Prediction: Steelers 25, Ravens 23

Corey Eckenroth

This is the biggest test of the season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. 1st Place in the division and a 2 game lead are at stake with a victory.

The Ravens Offense can score at will. Will the Steelers Defense be up to the task?

The Steelers Offense under Russell Wilson is scoring 30+pts/gm. Can they take advantage of a dismal and now short-handed Ravens secondary?

There’s gonna be lots of scoring. First to 32 points wins. It’ll be reminiscent of the December 2017 game that the Steelers won 39-38 over these same Ravens.

Wizard of Boz as time expires for the win.

Prediction: Steelers 33, Ravens 31

Jason Murphy

The Ravens are coming to town, and they are bringing their last place pass defense with them. Recent history has shown that the Steelers do not take advantage of a team when they seem to have a glaring weakness. To win this game, that will have to change. The defense can’t be expected to stop Baltimore’s offense, only to limit the damage as much as possible. It will take some big downfield throws and being able to move the chains through the air to win this one. The good news is that Pittsburgh finally has the capability to win a game on the arm of the QB again.

Prediction: Steelers 27, Ravens 26

Sadie Hubler

It’s Ravens week. The passion and intensity are never stronger in Acrisure Stadium than on game days against Baltimore. As always, this is going to be a physical game full of emotions. The Ravens come in with a monstrous running attack led by King Derrick Henry himself and Lamar Jackson. Even with the stout defense that the Steelers have, I predict Henry will have a big day with 100+ yards rushing and a touchdown.

The Achilles heel for the Ravens this year is their defense. They have not played well overall throughout the first half of the season, and this is something I believe the Steelers can exploit with Russell Wilson at the helm. This game will come down to the wire, but I am taking Pittsburgh in this one.

Prediction: Steelers 24, Ravens 20
