Steelers Training Camp Practice Tracker: Tracking the news from Day 1
The Pittsburgh Steelers are back, and that means it’s time to get you, the loyal fan base, up to speed on what is happening at training camp practice!
Can’t make it to St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA? Our goal is to help keep you up-to-date with everything that’s going on…as it happens.
Although we were hoping to have a Twitter feed built in which added things automatically coming from people who are at practice, it did not seem to come through in that manner. Instead, it will be much like I did last year where I’ll be adding tweets as they come available. We will continue to work on the automatic populating list so we can see if that feature can utilized in the days to come.
Get the latest news on the “7 Shots” drill, as well as who might be showing out in the backs-on-backers drill. Don’t have a Twitter handle? Don’t worry about it! Just follow along as the news comes, and feel free to respond to the news in the comment section below!
Enjoy the news coming from practice, and be sure to stay tuned to Steel Curtain Network as we deliver the best, in-depth news surrounding the black-and-gold as the team prepares for the 2023 regular season.
Note: Newer tweets will be added at the bottom to give a better timeline for when viewing at a later date.

Nick Herbig just dominated Le’Raven Clark on a gorgeous dip and rip. Would’ve been a sack and ruined the play.

First pick of camp: Elijah Riley nabs a pass from Mason Rudolph. Looked like a miscommunication between Rudolph and rookie Darnell Washington.

Kenny Pickett makes a great throw on a corner route as Diontae Johnson goes up and makes a great toe tapping grab.
Grass came out from underneath Johnson and he slipped. Grabbed his left knee for a second but is up and practicing.

Biggest surprise of the very early team-rep depth chart is Duke Dawson taking some 1st-team reps at nickel/slot 👀

Mitch Trubisky unleashed a deep ball to Calvin Austin down the sideline but Tre Norwood was there to break it up.

One guy having a solid day — Joey Porter Jr. Has made a couple of nice PBUs and some good coverage reps.
