The Pittsburgh Steelers teased their fan base on Monday about an important announcement coming at 3 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

So what could this announcement be?

There were many different theories going through the Steelers fan base. Perhaps using a picture of Woody from Toy Story and the NFL having a Toy Story game earlier this season was an indication of something. Perhaps it was something more basic such as the Steelers would be wearing either their throwback uniforms or color rush uniforms this week when they take on the Green Bay Packers.

Now that it is past 3 PM on Tuesday, the speculation is over. The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Tuesday that they Will be wearing their throwback uniforms this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers last wore their throwback uniforms last Christmas Eve when they faced the Las Vegas Raiders and celebrated the 50th anniversary of the immaculate reception. For those who don’t have that game ingrained in their mind, the Steelers were victorious 13–10 with a late touchdown connection from Kenny Pickett to George Pickens.
