Steelers to wear their Color Rush uniforms vs. Patriots Thursday night

If you are someone who loves uniform schemes, and how teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers use them, you knew this was coming.

“This” would be the team wearing their Color Rush uniforms on Thursday Night Football when the New England Patriots come to town.

This came from the Steelers official Twitter/X account Tuesday afternoon:

The team’s black-on-black with gold block number color scheme has quickly become a fan-favorite among the Pittsburgh Steelers fan base. And for good reason. Not only do they look awesome, but the Steelers usually win when wearing them.

The Steelers own a 7-2 record when wearing the Color Rush uniforms.

Will this winning trend continue? That depends on a lot of things, but you’d think the 2-win Patriots wouldn’t pose much of a threat. With that said, the Steelers are a team battling some serious injuries on a short week, so it could be a tough contest between two teams with stout defenses, and not a lot of offense.

If the Steelers uniform selection brings any good vibes to the team, they’ll be more than welcome as they hope to get back to their winning ways on Thursday night in prime time.
