With the NFL schedule released at 8 PM tonight, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, there are a number of games that have been announced ahead of the full schedule. Along with these games, they are also announcements of where games can be seen. With another streaming service getting in on the action, it has been announced that Netflix will be carrying the two games scheduled on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

With rumors coming on Tuesday that the Pittsburgh Steelers would be hosting the Kansas City Chiefs for a Christmas Day matchup, this information was even more prevalent to Steelers fans. On Wednesday, it was announced the Steelers will host the Chiefs on Christmas Day at 1 PM. The other matchup will see the Baltimore Ravens traveling to the Houston Texans.

The Steelers are not strangers to playing during the Christmas holiday in recent years. In 2016, the Steelers played their first Christmas Day game when they hosted the Baltimore Ravens in a 4:30 PM matchup which the Steelers won 31–27 in the final seconds. The Steelers saw Christmas Day games scheduled in back-to-back seasons when in 2017 they traveled to the Houston Texans in a game they won handily 34–6. In 2022, the Steelers hosted a prime time Christmas Eve game when they faced the Las Vegas Raiders one day following the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception. The Steelers were once again victorious when they came away with a 13–10 win.

Whether or not the Steelers can keep the Christmas streak going remains to be seen as they have a difficult matchup against the reining back-to-back Super Bowl champions. Additionally, the Steelers are rumored to be playing the Wednesday game on a short week as some reports have them facing the Baltimore Ravens the previous Saturday.
