The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their first depth chart of the 2024 season. For anyone who has been listening to head coach Mike Tomlin about the initial depth chart in years past, Steelers fans shouldn’t put too much stock into this list at this time. But, it is a starting point and does give an indication as to what the team was expecting for the 2024 season.

While names on this list are bound to change over the course of the Steelers three preseason games, here are the players listed as the starters on offense, defense, and special teams with some additional notes given below.

Offensive Starters

LT — Dan Moore Jr.
LG — Isaac Seumalo
C — Nate Herbig
RG — James Daniels
RT — Broderick Jones
TE — Pat Freiermuth

Offensive Notables:

• Connor Heyward once again finds himself on the depth chart twice, both as a fullback and as the 3rd tight end
• The quarterback depth chart is exactly as expected going Russell Wilson, Justin Fields, Kyle Allen, and John Rys Plumlee
• The second team wide receivers are Roman Wilson, Quez Watkins, and Dez Fitzpatrick
• Troy Fautanu is listed as the second team left tackle while Dylan Cook is the second team right tackle
• The running back depth chart has Jaylen Warren as the second team and both Cordarrelle Patterson and La’Mical Perine as the third team

• The second team defensive line is the Marvin Leal, Montravius Adams, and the injured Dean Lowry with Isaiah Loudermilk, Breiden Fehoko, and Logan Lee making up the third team
• Peyton Wilson and Tyler Matakevich are listed as the second team inside linebackers with Cole Holcomb and Mark Robinson the third team
• Nick Herbig and Jeremiah Moon are the second team outside linebackers with Markus Golden and Kyron Johnson the third team
• Cam Sutton is listed as the third team nickel cornerback behind Beanie Bishop and Grayland Arnold
