Miles Killebrew added to the the 2025 AFC Pro Bowl roster
The Pittsburgh Steelers season is over, but for a select few they are preparing for one more event on the league calendar. That event is the annual Pro Bowl Games being held next week, the week in between the AFC and NFC Championship games and the Super Bowl. While the Steelers had hopes for bigger plans than preparing for the Pro Bowl, they do have a new player who is getting recognition for his stellar play in 2024, and that’s special teams ace Miles Killebrew.
This per the Steelers official Twitter/X account:

Killebrew joins kicker Chris Boswell, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and linebacker T.J. Watt, who were voted to the Pro Bowl Games as starters, and rounds out the group of four. Why would Killebrew be a late addition to the roster? He is replacing New England Patriots special teams player Brenden Schooler who is currently injured and unable to participate.
As for Killebrew’s credentials, he has plenty of them. This is a synopsis of his play, per the Steelers official website:
This is the second straight year that Killebrew will participate in the Pro Bowl Games, after he was selected to the games last year.
Killebrew, the Steelers special teams captain, had 13 special teams tackles, eight of them solo stops, which was tied for ninth most in the NFL this year.
Killebrew has blocked three punts since signing with the Steelers in 2021, and four blocked punts in his career. Since he signed with the Steelers in 2021, he ranks first in blocked punts in the NFL with three. He also ranks 10th in the NFL in special teams solo tackles during his time with the Steelers with 24 and 19th in total snaps on special teams with 1,239.
