Steelers Burning Question: Will changes be made before Week 18?
Last season I did the Friday Night Steelers Six Pack and wondered if it was worth doing further. After all, interaction was not great, and sometimes you just have to adjust. So I decided to call an audible, and not just abandon the Friday night meeting of the black-and-gold minds.
Instead of six questions, I wanted to focus solely on one question.
We’ll still do the preamble of what you’re eating/drinking/listening to, but we’ll focus our attention on the one Steelers question of the week. Don’t worry, most weeks I’ll do a bonus/extra credit question for fun. With all that out of the way, let’s get to the question!
I put this on Twitter earlier today, with a lot of responses, but it was about Mike Tomlin talking about changes being made. What exactly would that even look like?
Mike Tomlin talked about “changes” for the #Steelers moving forward.
What changes do you think will be made before Week 18??
(If you think Russ is leaving as a starter, I would suggest that is NOT going to happen anytime soon.)

To me, something drastic is out of the picture. In other words, don’t expect to see Najee Harris benched, Justin Fields to be playing more, or even someone like Van Jefferson not performing his usual role within the team. To me, the only changes we’ll see are smaller ones which often don’t add up to much. Something like Beanie Bishop seeing more snaps than Cam Sutton, or Cordarrelle Patterson replaced on kickoffs with someone else. Nothing huge, or relatively impactful.
We shall see, but what do you think?
As for what I’m eating, we are having some takeout as some of our children nurse their way back to health after we spent the holidays with sick kids (always the best). As for drink, it’s store bought kombucha, as usual, and the tunes will be whatever the family wants to hear!
Happy Friday everyone!!
