Steelers Burning Question: Who was your favorite Steeler?
Last season I did the Friday Night Steelers Six Pack and wondered if it was worth doing further. After all, interaction was not great, and sometimes you just have to adjust. So I decided to call an audible, and not just abandon the Friday night meeting of the black-and-gold minds.
Instead of six questions, I wanted to focus solely on one question.
We’ll still do the preamble of what you’re eating/drinking/listening to, but we’ll focus our attention on the one Steelers question of the week. Don’t worry, most weeks I’ll do a bonus/extra credit question for fun. With all that out of the way, let’s get to the question!
On the Steelers Preview podcast we got talking about how great Heath Miller was in his time with the Steelers. It made me think back to those days, and who was a player who truly got you into the Steelers?
This will be different for everyone, based on your age and when you got hooked on the Steelers, but for me it was No. 7. Sure, I loved Barry Foster when I was young as he ran wild in 1993 and 1994, but it was Ben Roethlisberger in 2004 which changed everything for me. Roethlisberger wasn’t perfect, but I loved watching him play. He changed my fandom for the positive.
What do you think?
As for what I’m eating, it’s a road trip weekend for the family, so who knows what’s in store. As for drink, it’s always store bought kombucha, as usual, and the tunes will be whatever my family wants to hear!
Happy Friday everyone!!
