There’s been much discussion about the Steelers 2024 schedule since it was officially released last Wednesday. Along with their 17 regular season games, the details of the Steelers first two preseason games, both of which will be held at Acrisure Stadium, were also released. But when it came to the Steelers final preseason game, all that was announced was the Steelers would be facing the Detroit Lions on the road in the third week.

On Tuesday morning, the Steelers announced the final details of their third preseason matchup where they will face the Detroit Lions on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Ford Field at 1 PM.

With the Steelers having their first regular season matchup on Sunday, September 8, they will have a full two weeks of rest and preparation between the preseason and the regular season. If the NFL follows their typical schedule from the last few seasons, the final roster cut down day will be Tuesday, August 27, at 4 PM.

Just like the other two Steelers preseason games, those in the Pittsburgh area will be able to view the game on KDKA-TV.
