The Pittsburgh Steelers have completed Phase Three of OTAs for 2024 with only three days of mandatory minicamp remaining next week. After minicamp, the Steelers have six weeks until they report to training camp at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA at the end of July. On Friday, the Steelers announced their exact dates for 2024 training camp.

With the first practice on Thursday, July 25, the players will be reporting to St. Vincent College on Wednesday, July 24. The Steelers typically have a run test and other activities the first day before officially taking the field on Thursday. With four straight days of practices, the Steelers will not be in full gear until the following week on Tuesday, July 30, after a day off on Monday.

The Steelers schedule progresses with six days of practices and an off day on Monday up until their first preseason game on Friday, August 9. After this game, the Steelers have an off day on Saturday before returning for two more practices open to the public on Sunday and Monday, a day off on Tuesday, and the final practice open to the public on Wednesday, August 14. After this, the Steelers break camp in preparation for their second preseason game in Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 17.

Another key date on the Steelers training camp schedule is their annual Friday Night Lights at Latrobe Memorial Stadium at Latrobe High School. This practice is scheduled for Friday, August 2, at 7 PM and there is a entry fee.

Another interesting item of note for those looking to attend training camp is the number of practices that are starting at a different time than in past years. With almost all the practices in 2023 beginning at 1:55 PM, this year sees 10 of the 15 practices taking place at St. Vincent College beginning at 10:30 AM. Four of the practices, on Saturday July 27 and 28 as well as August 3 and 4, are at 1:55 PM. The Sunday practice on August 11 following the Steelers Friday night preseason game is scheduled for a 2:55 PM start.
