The Steelers had three players who missed their Week 17 game due to injury, although one was still the third quarterback. Those players include quarterback Justin Fields, cornerback Joey Porter Jr., and wide receiver Ben Skowronek. On Tuesday’s injury report, Justin Fields and Joey Porter were full participants while Ben Skowronek was limited. Wednesday saw all three players back to full participation.

The Steelers announced on Tuesday that they had three players to open their 21-day window with two coming from the Reserve/Injured List and one coming from the Reserve/PUP List. Rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson had his window opened and was a full participant Tuesday while rookie defensive tackle Logan Lee was limited with his calf injury. As for the PUP list, Cole Holcomb returned to practice Tuesday as a limited participant. On Wednesday, the designations were the same with Roman Wilson full while Lee and Holcomb were limited.

The other player who was limited for the Steelers on Tuesday was running back Jaylen Warren who is designated with an injury to his ribs. In his press conference on Monday, Coach Tomlin said Warren may be limited earlier in the week but was not concerned over his status for Saturday. Wednesday brought full practice for Warren.

The final two players on Tuesday’s list were both due to rest. Quarterback Russell Wilson was a limited participant due to rest while guard Isaac Seumalo did not practice. Wednesday saw both players return as full participants.

The new name to the injury report on Wednesday was Donte Jackson, who was limited with a back injury. Not being able to finish two games before missing Week 16 against the Ravens, Jackson returned to the Steelers lineup in Week 18. Seeing the issue come back for Jackson again this week is something to monitor going forward.
