SCN’s Survivor Contest: Week 4 Results

Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season is in the books. With all games complete, Steel Curtain Network’s survivor league is almost to where the number of contestants left can be counted on one hand.

One big question as things got going was how many contestants were entered. With all of league one being filled with 100 contestants, league two capped out at 51 entries. Since I am entered in both leagues in order to have access, this means 150 contestants are vying for the signed Mel Blount Steelers mini helmet.

The most common choice in the contest was for the Houston Texans to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars, although it was only 2 contestants. For a while it looked like the Jags were going to get their first win of the season. but with 0:18 left the Texans scored the go-ahead touchdown to pull off the victory.

Other than the Texans, the other 5 selections were all from one individual game. The other correct choices were the Dallas Cowboys, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the San Francisco 49ers. The only incorrect choice was the Steelers over the Indianapolis Colts.

In league one, there were no contestants eliminated, so all 5 go on in the contest. As for league two, one contestant was eliminated with only one moving through. Even if there is only one elimination each week, the contest would be done by mid season.

For those who are still in the contest, Week 5 is open and ready for you to make your next selection. Make sure you get in there and make your choice early as the selection can be changed up until 1 PM EST on Sunday.
