Pittsburgh Steelers are currently on only their second off day since reporting to training camp the last week of July. With 10 practices already in the books, the Steelers are seeing a slightly different schedule as they are now preparing for their first preseason game of the 2023 season. While those two are attending training camp practices are certain to make sure it’s a day when the Steelers are practicing, those who are merely looking for Steelers coverage throughout practice may not have the schedule completely memorized now that games are thrown into the mix.

When fans looked at the training camp schedule when it first came out, the first thing they could have noticed was that every Monday was an off day. With no practice today, it makes it much easier to outline the rest of the week. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Steelers are scheduled to have their typical 1:55 PM practices at Chuck Noll Field in Latrobe at St. Vincent College as long as the weather cooperates. On Thursday, the Steelers do not have any open practices to the public as they are likely to do some sort of walk-through before traveling to Tampa for Friday’s preseason game.

The Steelers have a 7 PM kickoff time against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Friday night. The game can be seen locally in Pittsburgh and Tampa or with a subscription to NFL+.

With a game on Friday, the Steelers have an off day on Saturday before returning to practice at St. Vincent College on Sunday at 1:55 PM. And as stated before, the Steelers will have their typical Monday off day on August 14.

Next week, the Steelers once again have 1:55 PM practices at training camp on both Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, the Steelers are scheduled for a 10:30 AM practice, their final one open to the public in Latrobe. After this, the Steelers will be breaking camp as they prepare to face the Buffalo Bills at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday, August 19.

So with only six training camp practices remaining that are open to the public, the Steelers have now well passed the halfway point of their time at St. Vincent College. For those who are still hoping to take in a Steelers practice in Latrobe, theses are the only six more opportunities to do so in 2023.
