Pittsburgh Steelers announce Hall of Honor Class of 2023
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been busy with practice at Saint Vincent College during the team’s annual training camp, but one aspect of the yearly trip to Latrobe has been the announcement of that year’s Hall of Honor class.
Saturday the Steelers announced the Class of 2023 which included:
- Aaron Smith
- Gerry “Moon” Mullins
- Ray Mansfield
- James Harrison
When it comes to the criteria for the Hall of Honor, players must be retired for three seasons, and also had to play a minimum of three years with the Steelers. This honor is not just for former players, but also contributors like scouts and coaches.
Every season the Steelers have a special presentation for these members of the class at a home game. This year that game will be the game vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 29th.
Be sure to stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes on the Steelers as they continue to prepare for the 2023 regulation season.
