Pittsburgh Steelers 2025 NFL Draft position finalized
The Pittsburgh Steelers season ended in an embarrassing way in the Wild Card Round of the AFC Playoffs last Saturday in Baltimore. Following the Ravens beat-down of their arch rivals, the Steelers now turn their attention to the offseason. The first event to take place once a team’s season officially ends is free agency. Signing plays to Reserve/Future Contracts, and then preparing for the start of the new league year in March.
But then there is the biggest event, and that’s the NFL Draft. When a team’s season ends, they also solidify their position in the draft order. So, with the Steelers now heading into a long offseason, it is time to take a look at where they will pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Official NFL Draft Order:
1. Tennessee Titans, 3-14
2. Cleveland Browns, 3-14
3. New York Giants, 3-14
4 New England Patriots, 4-13
5. Jacksonville Jaguars, 4-13
6. Las Vegas Raiders, 4-13
7. New York Jets, 5-12
8. Carolina Panthers, 5-12
9. New Orleans Saints, 5-12
10. Chicago Bears, 5-12
11. San Francisco 49ers, 6-11
12. Dallas Cowboys, 7-10
13. Miami Dolphins, 8-9
14. Indianapolis Colts, 8-9
15. Atlanta Falcons, 8-9
16. Arizona Cardinals, 8-9
17. Cincinnati Bengals 9-8
18. Seattle Seahawks, 10-7
19. Denver Broncos, 10-7
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 10-7
21. Pittsburgh Steelers, 10-7
The Steelers have picked in the early 20s a lot in the Mike Tomlin era. They are constantly on the fringe of contender status, and never bad enough to get a top pick to potentially land them a significant playmaker at a position like quarterback. Nonetheless, the Steelers will now have to take inventory on their roster before the draft to ensure they can put together the best roster possible.
As for the Steelers draft picks, they are as follows:
Round 1
Round 2
Round 3
Round 4
Round 5 (from LAR)*
Round 7 (from ATL, DEN, NO, or PHI)
Round 7 (from ATL, DEN, NO, or PHI)
*Will be the earlier of the Steelers or Rams pick in Round 5 as the latter pick will go to the Jets
