Isaac Seumalo joins Steelers teammates at the 2025 Pro Bowl
There aren’t a lot of football fans who are looking forward to the NFL Pro Bowl Games this weekend, but for some players they do look forward to it. Not only do some see it as an extra pay check, but it is a feather in their proverbial cap to which they can put on their resume if/when they are looking for a new contract.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have several players who are attending the Pro Bowl games, and you can add another name to the list. That would be offensive guard Isaac Seumalo who is replacing Kansas City Chiefs guard Trey Smith who isn’t playing because of participating in the Super Bowl.
Seumalo will join a group of Steelers who were selected to the Pro Bowl Games that includes Chris Boswell, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Cameron Heyward and T.J. Watt, who were voted in as starters, as well as special teams ace Miles Killebrew, who was named as an injury replacement. Watt won’t participate because of an injury.

For those who are curious, this is Seumalo’s first Pro Bowl appearance in his career.
As for Seumalo’s 2024 season, he appeared in 13 games in 2024, starting all of them, but missed four games as he started the season with a pectoral injury. He was part of an offensive line that helped the Steelers rank 11th overall in rushing yards with 2,166.
