Frisman Jackson reportedly out as Steelers wide receiver coach
The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the midst of an overhaul of sorts on offense. After the hiring of offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, there was a chance there would be more changes coming on the coaching staff. According to Gerry Dulac, those changes have already started with Frisman Jackson, wide receivers coach, not returning in 2024.

It should be noted while Dulac spoke of Jackson’s firing, he is still listed as the wide receivers coach on the Steelers official website. Not to suggest his contract wasn’t renewed, or he was fired, but it doesn’t seem to be an official move at this juncture.
Jackson had been with the Steelers only two seasons, and it is unknown the reason for the Steelers parting ways with him to coach the wide receivers. As for who will be taking over, that is anyone’s guess at this point. With that said, they certainly will have talent to work with as Diontae Johnson, George Pickens and Calvin Austin III will be looking to continue to take steps forward this year, and beyond.
Be sure to stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers as they press on throughout the offseason.
