Friday Night Steelers Six Pack: Welcome to Pittsburgh Edition

It’s another week in the NFL offseason, but the first weekend of the new league year. That means one thing, and one thing only — welcome to the start of free agency!

It also means it’s time for a Friday night six pack of questions for the black-and-gold faithful. So, you should know the rules by now, but if you don’t:

  • State your beverage of choice
  • What’s on the menu tonight?
  • What music are you listening to?

As for me, I am grilling some bone-in pork chops on the Oklahoma Joe’s charcoal grill, with some store bought kombucha. When it comes to music, I’m listening to some Brent Cobb on vinyl.

1. So, Kenny Pickett got traded today, what are your thoughts on this situation?

2. Of all the outside free agent acquisitions, which do you like the most? The flip side of that questions is which outside acquisition to you like the least?

3. Sticking with the opinion questions, what were your thoughts on the Diontae Johnson trade? Some say the Steelers were losers in the trade, while I feel the Steelers got rid of a headache. For even his on-field performance, the dude didn’t want to be in Pittsburgh anymore. What did you think?

4. Of all the positions you were hoping the Steelers would address through free agency, which one is the most troubling considering it hasn’t been filled yet?

5. Prediction Time! Finish the sentence: In Week 1 of the 2024 regular season _____ will be the Steelers starting QB.

6. Take a look at the Steelers road games in 2024. Which game would you choose to attend if travel/money wasn’t an issue:

Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, as well as the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders
