Friday Night Steelers Six Pack: Time to Unleash Edition

Okay Steelers fans, time for another weekly meeting of the black-and-gold minds! You know the drill by now. State your beverage of choice, what you’re eating, and any music you might be enjoying right now!

As for me, I have to drive my youngest son to therapy almost an hour away every Friday afternoon/evening so dinner will be whatever he wants to pick up afterwards. As for what I am listening to, it’s SCN podcasts with the occasional Christmas music sprinkled in (Just like last time).

Okay, let’s get to the questions!!

1. The Steelers haven’t rushed for 150 yards a game in five-straight games in the same season since 1978. With the active streak at 4 games, do the Steelers get there this week against the Cardinals?

2. The Steelers defense hasn’t given up more than 20 points since Week 4. How many more games, if any, do you think this will continue? In case you need it, here is the order of the Steelers remaining opponents:

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • New England Patroits
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Seattle Seahawks
  • Baltimore Ravens

3. Some Steelers fans feel wide receiver Diontae Johnson may be entering the Steelers dog house. On Sunday, do you think Johnson will be targeted less, more, or about the same based on recent events?

4. It was announced this week the Steelers will play in Indianapolis in Week 15 on Saturday afternoon. This means after this Sunday the Steelers play on Thursday followed by two Saturday games. How do you feel about Steelers games on Saturdays in December?

5. Minkah Fitzpatrick is back this Sunday for the Steelers and is seeking his first interception of the season? Do you think he gets it this week?

6. With it being December 1, we have now entered my favorite month of the year! Between the Christmas season, lots of good football, and time off of school/work at the end of the month, it’s a great time of year. Do you agree with me about December, or is there another month of the year that is your favorite?

Okay, time to get to the comments and voice your opinion! As always, stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers as they prepare for the Cardinals.
