Friday Night Steelers Six Pack: Buckle up, it’s about to go down
t’s another week in the NFL offseason, but the first weekend with all 32 teams officially in offseason mode. That means one thing, and one thing only — welcome to the offseason!
It also means it’s time for a Friday night six pack of questions for the black-and-gold faithful. So, you should know the rules by now, but if you don’t:
- State your beverage of choice
- What’s on the menu tonight?
- What music are you listening to?
As for me, I am grilling some Burgers on the Oklahoma Joe’s charcoal grill, with some store bought kombucha. When it comes to music, I’m listening to some Chris Stapleton on vinyl.
1. What are your thoughts of the Russell Wilson situation? If the Steelers pulled the trigger and signed him, would you be okay with him on the roster?
2. How do you predict the Steelers will handle the safety position this offseason? Releasing Keanu Neal means they only truly have Damontae Kazee and Minkah Fitzpatrick as the primary duo. How will they play their hands, and do you have any players you’d like them to sign?
3. If you had your way, would you prefer the Steelers to be more active/aggressive in free agency? Or do you like the way they’ve done it for the past decade or so?
4. When it comes to the start of the new league year, which position do you think the Steelers will sign first? This is simply just a fun prediction…
5. We talked about this on the Steelers Preview podcast last night. If you were Omar Khan and someone called you about trading for Diontae Johnson, what would you accept in a trade? And saying you wouldn’t trade him is an acceptable answer…
6. The weather is starting to turn here, and there are signs of life once again. Spring is just around the corner! What do you look forward to the most about the change of seasons/warmer weather? As for me, it’s the ability to get out and golf again…
Have a great weekend, and always be sure to check into SCN for the latest podcasts and articles on the Steelers!
