Bold and Bizarre Predictions for the Steelers vs. Bengals, Week 12

After an eventful week that saw the first coaching change for the Steelers since 1941, the Steelers look to get back on the winning track in Ohio and remain in striking distance of a title in the best division in all of football. But with uncertainty still with the QB1, key injuries on defense, and a revived running game, there comes a whole lotta predictions. With that being said, SCN’s resident Nostradumbass is back to do the deed again this week. The following are predictions, some basic, some bold and some absolutely bizarre.

  • Antonio Brown shows up with his own playbook entitled, “The AB Sees Offense” and claims that he is the rightful successor to Matt Canada as the Steelers Offensive Coordinator. Just to screw with Pittsburgh, Paycor Stadium security leads the disgraced former Steeler to the black-and-gold locker room, only for NFL officials to shoo him away.
  • A revitalized Kenny Pickett throws for 202 yards with two touchdown passes and goes pick-free for his 7th straight game.
  • George Pickens goes for 82 yards and 33-yard TD in the third puts the Steelers ahead for good. Pickens celebrates the score and the 32nd anniversary of condoms being distributed to 1000’s of New York City High Schoolers by doing the same for Bengals fans. The rub? The gifted prophylactics were leftovers from the 1991 giveaway.
  • Pat Freiermuth is targeted five times and pulls in a touchdown reception.
  • Chris Boswell is a perfect 3-for-3 on the day with a longest sailing 49 yards into the Queen City afternoon.
  • Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren don’t crack 200 yards combined against a soft Bengals Front 7 but do eclipse 150 and see Warren get a score.
  • T.J. Watt gets 2 sacks to up his total to 13.5 on the season. One of his takedowns is a strip sack recovered by Keanu Benton.
  • Joey Porter Jr. and Pat Peterson both get interceptions by grabbing passes intended for Bengals receivers thrown by Jake Browning.
  • The Steelers defense surrenders a 100+ receiving game to Ja’Marr Chase, but the defense keeps Joe Mixon under the century mark.
  • Presley Harvin III punts less than last week, but averages only 45.0 yards-per-punt and only pins Cincy inside the 20-yard line twice.
  • Teryl Austin becomes the next coordinator under fire after Matt Canada’s exit.
  • The Steelers advance to 7-4 with an inspired offense. The black and gold eclipse both 30 points and 400 total yards for the first time in eons.

Will any of this actually happen? I’ll bet at least one or two. Heck, maybe every one of them. Be sure to post your predictions — basic or bizarre — below.
