Bold and Bizarre Predictions for Steelers vs. Titans, Week 9
After a loss to Jacksonville to drop down to 4-3, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Will Levis-led Tennessee Titans both have a quick turnaround on Thursday Night Football. Due to that, there comes a whole lotta predictions as the Steelers strive to get to 5-3. With that being said, SCN’s resident Nostradumbass is back to do the deed again this week. The following are predictions, some basic, some bold and some absolutely bizarre.
- Antonio Brown attempts to impersonate Calvin Austin III and wear his uniform, but freaks out when he sees the No. 19 and memories of animosity towards former Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster creep back in.
- In a triumphant return and a flak jacket, Kenny Pickett throws two touchdown passes to finally have more career scoring efforts than interceptions tossed. KP8 throws for 220 yards and two scores.
- George Pickens leads the black and gold by eclipsing 100 yards and a trip to the end zone. Big George celebrates the score and National Deviled Egg Day by whipping purple eggs into the stands.
- Darnell Washington gets his first career touchdown reception.
- Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren get on track against the Tennessee D and combine for over 150 yards rushing. Najee scores
- T.J. Watt gets two sacks to temporarily move into the NFL with 10.5 lead against Tennessee’s O-Line.
- Joey Porter Jr. gets his second career interception by thieving a pass by Will Levis. But that’s not all as JPJ No. 24 glides all the way into the end zone for his first career touchdown.
- Chris Boswell is a perfect 3-for-3 on the day with one more field goal over 50 yards for 29 total in his career.
- The Steelers defense surrenders a 100+ rushing game to Derrick Henry and a 100+ receiving game by DeAndre Hopkins, but they befuddle and harass Will Levis.
- Even though the author has vowed to pick against the Steelers due to superstition and criticism from yinzers that don’t believe that “true Steelers fans” pick against Pittsburgh, I am suspending that and taking the Steelers to win 30-27. If they lose, however, don’t blame me.
Will any of this actually happen? I’ll bet at least one or two. Heck, maybe every one of them. Be sure to post your predictions — basic or bizarre — below.
