Bold and Bizarre Predictions for Steelers vs. Ravens, Week 18

The Steelers actually looked like a playoff team the past two weeks by defeating both Cincinnati and Seattle. This week for the Regular Season finale in Baltimore, the appearance needs to be even more sterling. Especially when the opponent is the best team in football, the Baltimore Ravens. Luckily for the “Bubble Boys from the Burgh”, the Ravens have nothing to play for and have announced several imperative players as “out” for the early evening. Of course, with everything going on, there comes a whole lotta predictions.

With that being said, SCN’s resident Nostradumbass is back to do the deed again this week as the Steelers look for their third win in a row and help to make the postseason. The following are predictions, some basic, some bold and some absolutely bizarre.

  • To honor an event from 30 years ago that occurred on this very date in 1993, trying to get into the good graces of the Super Bowl favorite Ravens with delusions of them adding the former All-Pro for a possible postseason slot, AB sneaks into M&T Bank Stadium dressed like a ninja and cracks the player wearing No. 14 in the knees with a baseball bat. But the plan goes awry when the man sometimes known as Ronald Ocean assaults Ravens superstar safety Kyle Hamilton and not his intended target, George Pickens who sports the same digits.
  • Despite the nasty weather, Mason Rudolph finishes the game with a 300-yard effort and a touchdown pass on the day.
  • Diontae Johnson reels in 8 catches and George Pickens 4. But it’s Allen Robinson who pulls in the Rudolph scoring pass.
  • Chris Boswell is a perfect 3-for-3 on the day with a long of 45 yards. The better kicker on the season is the better on the day despite his Pro Bowl snub at the toes of Justin Tucker
  • Needing only 77 yards for a 1000-yard season, Najee Harris gets that and then some with his second 100+ effort in a row. Harris’ 8th rushing TD of the year tops his first two season in the league with only seven.
  • T.J. Watt collects 3 sacks of Tyler Huntley to end the regular season at 20.
  • Myles Jack records 11 tackles on the late afternoon/early evening, but a returning Elandon Roberts tops him with 14.
  • Joey Porter Jr. and Pat Pete pull in picks.
  • The Steelers defense surrenders a 200+ rushing game to the Ravens, but Boswell’s third FG secures the 20-23 win.
  • The Dolphins defeat the Bills setting up a matchup in Miami next week in the Wild Card Round. Most fans are elated, but some still complain.

Will any of this actually happen? I’ll bet at least one or two. Heck, maybe every one of them. Be sure to post your predictions — basic or bizarre — below.
