AFC North Recap: The division remains up for grabs

Week 12 for the AFC North is officially over, and it was quite the week for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens. All four teams were active this past Sunday, with only half of the division adding a strike in the win column Sunday.

Time to check on what happened, and what’s coming up, in the AFC North…

Pittsburgh Steelers – 16
Cincinnati Bengals – 10

The Steelers canned Matt Canada, and the offense responded with their first 400 yard game since 2020. It was a performance which only equated in 16 points, but provided hope for the fan base as they hope this positive trend on offense continues. The road gets easier before it gets harder, and it’s time for the Steelers to take care of business.

Denver Broncos – 29
Cleveland Browns – 12

Dorian Thompson-Robinson (DTR) took the Browns to Denver in hopes of winning back-to-back games, but those dreams were crushed early as the red-hot Broncos made enough plays to win. Also, DTR left the game and is now in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Throw in Myles Garrett’s shoulder injury and it looks like the Browns are at a tipping point of the season.

Baltimore Ravens – 20
Los Angeles Chargers – 10

Sunday night saw the Chargers looking to get back on the winning side of things, yet they weren’t able to do it. The Chargers, even with all the big name players on the roster, were completely out-classed by the Ravens as Baltimore now heads into their bye week before they finish the season several tough tests awaiting them.
