9 players miss the Steelers first practice of Week 15 on Wednesday
The Pittsburgh Steelers are moving along through the 2024 NFL season and are back on the road for their final NFC matchup of the regular season. As the Steelers took the practice field for their first day with a required injury report in preparation for the Eagles, there were nine players who did not participate while none were limited. In the first injury report of the week courtesy of the Steelers PR Department, ten names appear on the list.

No. 90 DT Larry Ogunjobi (Groin) – DNP** In designated 21-day window to return from Reserved/Injured List
One player who is extremely likely to miss the upcoming game is wide receiver George Pickens who also missed the Steelers Week 14 win over the Browns with a hamstring injury. It is not surprising to see Pickens did not participate in practice on Wednesday.
Two players who are dinged up from the previous game Mike Tomlin mentioned in his Tuesday press conference who could be limited early in the week were Larry Ogunjobi with a groin injury and DeShon Elliott with a hamstring injury. On Wednesday, neither player suited up to participate.
One name that appears on the list is a player who is not on the 53-man roster but has had his 21-day windows open to return from the Reserve/Injured List (IR). Montravius Adams had his 21-day window opened the last Wednesday in November as he is working back from a knee injury. On Wednesday, Adams was a full participant.
The other six names of the Steelers injury report were all players who missed time due to rest and were not injury related. Those players were linebacker Patrick Queen, running back Najee Harris, wide receiver Mike Williams, guard Isaac Seumalo, linebacker T.J. Watt, and defensive tackle Cam Heyward.
