One player who has been essentially ruled out for Sunday is outside linebacker Alex Highsmith with a groin injury. It was not a surprise to see Highsmith did not participate in practice on Wednesday.
Two other players who missed the Steelers last game and did not practice last week were running back Jaylen Warren and tight end MyCole Pruitt both with knee injuries. To start this week both Warren and Pruitt were held out of practice Wednesday.
After missing the first four games of the season, there is hope guard Isaac Seumalo can return to a Steelers offensive line that has been decimated by injuries. Returning to practice last week as a limited participant each day, Seumalo began this week as a full participant in practice.
After being the third quarterback the first four games due to a calf injury, quarterback Russell Wilson is continuing to work his way back into the lineup as Justin Fields gets more preparation. On Wednesday, Wilson was limited once again with the same calf injury which has sidelined him since before the regular season began.
