2025 NFL Draft Risers and Fallers after Week 4 of College Football

The NFL Draft is still in the distant future, but the true difference-maker in a player’s draft stock is determined by their on-field performance during the regular season. “But how can I track all the highlights throughout college football each week?”, you may ask. If that is you, you came to the right place!

Each week during the college football season, I will bring to you an NFL Draft Stock Report, sharing the most significant draft information gathered from the previous week’s college football action. As the season goes on, we will focus in on players whose stock is continuously soaring and making a case to be an early to mid-round selection.

As always, be sure to share your thoughts on these prospects in the comment section below, but without further adieu, here are the most notable performances affecting the 2025 NFL Draft landscape from this past week’s action.

Quinshon Judkins | RB | Ohio State

Ohio State’s running game has continued to lead this offense to new heights in 2024, and much of that is due to the effect of Quinshon Judkins. The Ole Miss Transfer has an impressive 86-yard run on Saturday, which padded a stat line of 14 carries for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also added 2 catches for 14 yards. The running back position looks loaded, as usual, but Judkins is certainly making his case to be the RB1 of the class. He and TreVeyon Henderson have formulated the best 1-2 punch at running back in the country.

Trey Rucker | S | Oklahoma State

Rucker was rather unknown to me until recently, but if we see more performances from him like we saw against Utah, he could become a household name rather quickly. Rucker, a Wake Forest transfer, has athleticism that seems to be questioned by some, but the tape he gave to scouts this week was quite impressive. Rucker notched 13 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 2 interceptions, consistently finding the ball and nearly making enough of a difference to change the game script for Oklahoma State. Keep an eye on him the remainder of the season as a late-round riser.

Eric Gentry | ILB | USC

USC’s run defense struggled mightily against Michigan on Saturday, but one player who was consistently around the football was linebacker Eric Gentry. The Arizona State transfer has put together a nice season, and he continued in that direction last Saturday, racking up 12 total tackles, 8 solo tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 1 sack. At 6’5”, 215 pounds, Gentry has incredible upside in coverage with his lanky frame, but his change-of-direction skills still need some improvement, and he must continue to add weight to his frame. He is a projected Day 3 pick with the upside of a mid-Day 2 selection.

Josiah Stewart | EDGE | Michigan

Stewart may not have a prototypical NFL frame for an EDGE defender, but we are finally beginning to see glimpses of his true potential. This week against USC, Stewart made a major impact on defense for Michigan, recording 4 tackles, 3 solo tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. At 6’1”, 245, Stewart’s lack of length could negatively affect his draft stock, but he provides good athleticism and explosiveness of the edge. If he can provide more consistency down the stretch of the season, we are looking at a mid-round prospect with upside who could provide value to teams with a 3-4 base package.
