It’s the official lull of the NFL offseason, and that means it provides enough time to go over things which you might not have time to dive into when the news and storylines are rampant. One of the things which is always something I want to do is an in-depth preview on the schedule. When the schedule gets released it involves a very knee jerk reaction from the fan base, but not a lot of introspection happens once the dust settles.

Well, if you’re like me, you’re in luck. This is the detailed breakdown of the Steelers 2024 regular season schedule, by week.

Week 12 & 14: vs Cleveland Browns

Week 14: Sunday, December 8th – 1:00pm EST

Week 12: ESPN

Last Meeting: 11/19/23 – Browns 13, Steelers 10

Overall Series Record: Steelers lead 81-63-1

2023 Records:

Steelers: 10-7

Ravens: 11-6

Projected Starting QB Matchup: DeShaun Watson vs. Russell Wilson

Analysis: The season series between the Steelers and Browns will be interesting, to say the least. While I predicted a season sweep for the Steelers over the Ravens, I don’t see it that way for the Browns. The main reason? The first meeting between the two teams comes the week after the Steelers play the Ravens. In case you didn’t know, the Steelers don’t do too well the week after the blood bath which is typically the Ravens games.

While the Monday night game is after the Ravens, it’s also on the road. In other words, there are a lot of factors I don’t like about this game for the Steelers.

With that said, I do see the Steelers winning the home game vs. the Steelers in Week 14 at Acrisure Stadium. There are some teams who just don’t match up well with the Steelers, and the Browns will certainly provide a challenge with their running attack vs. the Steelers defense. Nonetheless, I predict a season split with these two teams, with both teams winning on their home turf.

Prediction:

Week 12: Browns 23, Steelers 20

Week 14: Steelers 24, Browns 17
