2 Steelers named to the NFLPA All-Pro Team
The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card Round of the AFC Playoffs, and some post-season awards are being handed out to players who don the black-and-gold.
While the AP All-Pro awards, voted on by the writers, have yet to be unveiled, the NFL’s Players Association (NFLPA) released their All-Pro teams. The difference between the Associated Press (AP) All-Pro and the NFLPA is the fact the NFLPA votes come from the players themselves.
The Steelers saw two players make 1st Team All-Pro, and they were two special teams players.
Placekicker Chris Boswell and Safety/Special Teams Captain Miles Killebrew. This from the Steelers official Twitter/X account:

Boswell, who was also selected to the Pro Bowl Games, connected on an NFL high 41 of 44 field goal attempts this season (93.2%). He was also perfect on 35 extra point attempts. He made 13 field goals of 50 or more yards this season.
Killebrew, who was selected to the Pro Bowl Games and Associated Press All-Pro in 2023, had another strong season in 2024.
Killebrew, the Steelers special teams captain, has 13 special teams tackles, eight of them solo stops.
In terms of omissions, the fact Cam Heyward wasn’t given the credit for his stellar season will have Steelers fans wondering about the process, and T.J. Watt, while having a more mortal season compared to prior seasons, still had a season which many thought could see him getting honors like All-Pro.
Nonetheless, it’s Boswell and Killebrew winning the All-Pro NFLPA 1st Team honors in 2024. Be sure to stay tuned to SCN for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers as they prepare for the Ravens this Saturday night in the AFC Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs.
