No. 3 QB Russell Wilson (Calf) – Limited
No. 10 WR Roman Wilson (Ankle) – Full
No. 11 WR Van Jefferson (Eye) – Full
No. 22 RB Najee Harris (NIR – Rest) – DNP
No. 25 S DeShon Elliott (Quadricep) – Limited

No. 90 LB T.J. Watt (NIR – Rest) – Limited
No. 97 DT Cameron Heyward (NIR – Rest) – Limited
No. 99 DL Larry Ogunjobi (NIR – Rest) – Limited

What might be the most encouraging designation on this list is seeing Isaac Seumalo as a limited participant on Wednesday. Seumalo has missed the Steelers first three games with a pectoral injury and had yet to practice since the injury occurred ahead of Week 1. The rest of the week will show if Seumalo can play on Sunday, but getting on the practice field at all is a sign that he is headed in the right direction.

As for looking at things on the discouraging end, running back Jaylin Warren was unable to practice On Wednesday due to his knee injury. Steelers said coach Mike Tomlin said Warren would be limited early in the week, perhaps holding him out the first practice was more of a precaution to have him available as the week progresses. Only time will tell if this is the case.

There were five names on the injury list that were not due to injury but for players getting rest. Even though he was seen to have his arm in a sling on Monday, Harris didn’t practice on Wednesday but did not have an injury designation. The other four players on the report that were not injury related were listed as limited and include Donte Jackson, T.J. Watt, Cameron Heyward, and Larry Ogunjobi.

There were also two names on the injury report of players who were full participants. Although he returned at the end of the game after missing most of the contest, Van Jefferson is on the injury report with his eye injury but he was a full participant. Wide receiver Roman Wilson, who has yet to make his NFL debut and was a healthy scratch in Week 3, was once again a full participant coming off of his high ankle sprain he sustained in training camp.

After being the third quarterback the last two games due to a calf injury, quarterback Russell Wilson is continuing to work his way back into the lineup as Justin Fields gets more preparation. On Wednesday, Wilson was once again limited as Coach Tomlin said he would be in his press conference. It will be Wilson’s participation Thursday that will be the most telling for his status this week.

A previously unknown injury that showed up on Wednesday’s injury report was safety Deshon Elliott being limited with a quadricep issue.

The other two players who did not participate in Wednesday’s practice had already been ruled out for this week by head coach Mike Tomlin during his press conference on Tuesday. Both Alex Highsmith with his groin and MyCole Pruitt with a knee injury did not practice on Wednesday, as expected.
