“Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal” Returns to WWE NXT

Halloween Havoc is coming soon, so WWE NXT set up a pair of matches last night by playing “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal.”

This concept dates back to 1991 in WCW, when Sting battled Jake “The Snake” Roberts. The wheel landed on a Coal Miner’s Glove match.

Oba Femi spun the wheel for his rematch with North American champion Tony D’Angelo. They will meet in a “Tables, Ladders & Scares” match.

“All Ego” Ethan Page earned a title match with NXT champion Trick Williams at Halloween Havoc. Page won the three-way main event last night against Je’Von Evans and Wes Lee.

Trick spun the wheel for his match with Page, and it landed on a “Devil’s Playground” match.

MORE WACKY IDEAS

Oro Mensah and Lexis King (Brian Pillman Jr.) didn’t wait until Halloween Havoc to have a crazy stipulation match. They met last night in a Gentleman’s Duel.

Striking a grounded opponent, fighting on the floor, and throwing an opponent over the top rope were illegal. Wrestlers only had three seconds to stop cheating instead of the usual five.

King reversed a rollup and scored the pin.

In the opening match last night, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Wren Sinclair. Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez came out to attack Vaquer.

Giulia came to the rescue. They will have a tag team match at Halloween Havoc.

In other NXT results:

·      Nikkita Lyons beat Lola Vice

·      Ridge Holland defeated Riley Osborne

·      Brooks Jensen beat Ashante thee Adonis

Halloween Havoc is set for Sunday, Oct. 27, in Hershey, Pa. It will air on Peacock like the major WWE shows.
