Our flagship podcast Affected by Altitude, hosted by Evan Lang and Skyler Timmins, covers all the happenings of the big league club. Skyler and Evan ring in the new year by breaking down yet another Dodgers signing and then do a quick jaunt around the league to see where some former Rockies prospects have ended up. Meanwhile, former Rockies standout reliever Scott Oberg has been named the minor league pitching coordinator! Once believed to be the next big thing out of the Rockies pen, Oberg’s career was cut short due to recurring blood clots. The Rockies kept him in-house however as a part-time pitching consultant for the minors. Oberg has excelled in his role and now takes on a bigger role as the Rockies try to develop arms better and better. Then, Skyler gives a brief recap a out his general manager exploits in Out of the Park Baseball before the guys discuss projections and expectations for Brenton Doyle going into the 2025 season. Can the two-time Gold Glover continue to improve and potentially become an All-Star in 2025? Or will he regress a bit like some projections expect?
